Nestled in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna is a hidden gem for coffee lovers and adventure seekers alike. During my three-week stay in this vibrant Canadian city, I had the pleasure of visiting several of its finest cafes, exploring its picturesque landscapes, and experiencing its thrilling outdoor activities.

Of course, no trip to Kelowna would be complete without indulging in some of the city's finest coffee shops. I visited a total of nine cafes, each with its unique charm and specialty.

First up was Giobean Espresso, located in the heart of downtown Kelowna. This cozy cafe is known for its strong Italian-style espresso, expertly crafted cappuccinos, and delectable pastries. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick pick-me-up before heading out on your next adventure.

For a more laid-back atmosphere, I highly recommend a visit to Third Space Coffee. Tucked away in the trendy Pandosy Village neighborhood, this community-focused cafe is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Their signature cold brew coffee is a must-try, and their avocado toast is simply divine.

They're known for their freshly baked pastries, artisanal sandwiches, and locally roasted coffee. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch while taking in the stunning views.

Another must-visit cafe in Kelowna is Bean Scene Coffee Works. With several locations throughout the city, this popular chain is known for its cozy atmosphere, locally roasted coffee, and delectable snacks. Their Nutella latte is a favorite among customers, and their gluten-free options are a welcome surprise for those with dietary restrictions.

Their lavender latte is a must-try, and their vegan breakfast sandwich is a welcome surprise for plant-based eaters.

Aside from coffee shop hopping, Kelowna offers plenty of outdoor activities to explore. I spent a day wakeboarding and sailing on Okanagan Lake, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards.

I also biked the Kettle Valley Railway Trail, stopping to admire the stunning Myra Canyon trestles along the way. It's a must-do activity for anyone visiting Kelowna, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

For a unique experience, I highly recommend a visit to Kangaroo Creek Farm. This family-owned farm is home to over 50 kangaroos and wallabies, as well as a variety of other animals, including goats, chickens, and pot-bellied pigs. It's the perfect spot to get up close and personal with some of Australia's most iconic animals.

Finally, I capped off my trip to Kelowna with a visit to Meadow Vista Honey Wines. This family-owned winery specializes in honey-based wines, meads, and ciders, offering a unique twist on traditional Okanagan wines. Their tasting room is a must-visit, offering stunning views of the surrounding orchards and vineyards.
